On Saturday April 19th from 12-3pm, Groundwork RVA will be having their second annual Youth Bike Swap!

There will have food, crafts, and of course bikes!!

🌳 This year, Riverside outfitters will be joining them and hosting a tree climbing demo for youth and families to try out.

🚴🏾 From 12-1:30, youth will be able to trade in their old and outgrown bikes. Then starting at 2pm, they will be doing a giveaway of all the bikes they have left from the swap. Bikes will be available on a first come first serve basis, so come early!

🛠️ They need volunteers!!! They need folks to help them with different activity stations, but especially bike mechanics to help with the bike swap. If you're interested, you can sign up at bit.ly/ybs25.

💪🏾 They are still accepting bike donations for this event! Those can be dropped off during shop open hours, Wednesday to Friday 2-6pm. If you need to coordinate an alternative drop off time, you can send them a direct message or email at alexa@groundworkrva.org.

El sábado 19 de abril, de 12 a 15 horas, tendremos nuestro segundo intercambio anual de bicicletas para jóvenes!

¡Habrá comida, artesanía y por supuesto bicicletas!

🌳 Este año, Riverside Outfitters se unirán a nosotros y organizarán una demostración de escalada de árboles para que los jóvenes y las familias la prueben.

🚴🏾 De 12:00 a 13:30, los jóvenes podrán intercambiar sus bicicletas viejas y que ya no les queden. A partir de las 14:00, haremos un sorteo con todas las bicicletas que nos queden del intercambio. Las bicicletas estarán disponibles por orden de llegada, ¡así que vengan temprano!

🛠️ ¡Necesitamos voluntarios! Necesitamos gente que nos ayude con las diferentes estaciones de actividades, pero sobre todo, mecánicos de bicicletas para ayudar con el intercambio de bicicletas. Si te interesa, puedes inscribirte en bit.ly/ybs25.

💪🏾 ¡Seguimos aceptando donaciones de bicicletas para este evento! Pueden entregarlas durante el horario de apertura de nuestra tienda, de miércoles a viernes de 14:00 a 18:00 h.
