“Go with the Flow”: New flooding project headed to Richmond

April 7, 2025, WRIC

Southside ReLeaf and the University of Richmond (U of R) partner up for the “Go with the Flow” mapping project which will run from March 20. to Sept. 1.

The project started due to Richmond’s history with flooding and, according to the website, very little data exists on exactly how much it floods in the River City.

For the duration of the project Richmonders are invited to help aid in the data collection efforts by completing a brief survey each time it rains in the city.
